Dr. Seuss' - Horton Hears a Who!



The movie tells the story of Horton the Elephant who, on the fifteenth of May in the Jungle of Nool, hears a small speck of dust talking to him. It turns out the speck of dust is actually a tiny planet, home to a city called "Whoville", inhabited by microscopic-sized inhabitants known as Whos.

The Whos ask Horton (who, though he cannot see them, is able to hear them quite well) to protect them from harm, to which Horton happily agrees to do, proclaiming throughout the book that "a person's a person, no matter how small". In doing so he is ridiculed and forced into a cage by the other animals in the jungle for believing in something that they are unable to see or hear. His chief tormentors are Vlad Vladikoff, the Wickersham Brothers and the Sour Kangaroo. Horton tells the Whos that, lest they end up being boiled in "Beezelnut Oil," they need to make themselves heard to the other animals. The Whos finally accomplish this by ensuring that all members of their society play their part. In the end it is a "very small shirker named Jo-Jo" whose final addition to the volume creates enough lift for the jungle to hear the sound, thus reinforcing the moral of "a person's a person no matter how small."

Now convinced of the Whos' existence, Horton's neighbors vow to help him protect the tiny community.

Teacher: "What does a cow have four of that I have only two?"
Harry: "Legs.

"Teacher: "What is in your pants that you have but I do not have?"(The principal wondered, why does she ask such a question!)
Harry: "Pockets."

Teacher: "What does a dog do that a man steps into?
"Harry: "Pants."

Teacher: "What's starts with a C and ends with a T, and it is hairy, oval, delicious and contains thin whitish liquid?"(The principal's eyes open really wide and before he could stop the answer...)Harry: "Coconut."

ytd is vernice's birthday. so in the afternoon went to town with ron to help look for presents.
and then vernice came and meet us. then after that we went seperate ways and meet at clarke quay again.



after which we went to 10th dimension again. drank and drank and drank until i also seh.oh vernice also drunk. then after awhile i also kinda drunk alr. i start doing stupid things = =and still keep telling they all i not drunk.


anyway i wont want a second time again i hope.
lol. will keep my mind clear next time = =!
i'm so sorry to everyone of who was there..


omg until now i keep doing stupid things. and i'm still so moody and stuffs.
feel like crying. sigh. maybe my menses coming alr. lol.

i'm soooo excited! i'm packing my xmas gifts and ver's present and i just cant stop exclaiming how cute the xmas present look in that transparent plastic bag i bought from Art-Friend.
they just look extremely cute! (to me luh)

woah. just reach home. went out with ver and ron to shop for xmas present. at first going to nikki's cell grp xmas party with vernice but end up very lazy cause it's supper far from my house!

walked ard. after that went to 10th dimension at boat quay.
there's no one in the pub when we reach so we can sing quite afew songs. then more and more ppl came. invited mr.e-lookalike too. but sigh. some things happen. ron and ver both think he's too touchy! and he's seem to be interested in ver. =/ lol.
well after that jovan, teng zhe, dat yong and qiu ming arrived and we played poker cards and etc.
quite soon later mr.e-lookalike went off to meet his friend. sigh. big X. his not a decent guy i think. =(

okay and again ver broke dwn again so she doesnt want to go home then we went to rab bar with jo they all hang ar until 3am i think and went back 10th dimension again. okay i got a little mood swing and i broke dwn too but its alright alr (:

after that at ard 4.45am, me, ver and ron decided to go back home so ver cabbed home and we went to the bus stop and i realised my last NR has already departed. then accomp ron to wait for his NR. after which ponders awhile where to go and decided to go back and find them. hang ard. sang one song i think and after that jo was kinda drunk! and he gets alil touchy too. = =!
then played with teng zhe. haha. miss the old times!

at 6am, we left and walked to central to grab a drink. during which jovan carry me up and kinda like throw me in the air? lol. it's so fun! just like what my dad will do when i'm a kid. haha.
alright then we cabbed home and jo felt asleep beside me. heard that he havent sleep for 2 days?
lol. anyway hope everything's alright with him and his gf!

i've just finished my breakfast, taken my cough medicine and now heading to bed. suppppper sleepy alr.

i'm back from chalet. super tiring. feeling so sleepy now. didnt catch a wink yesterday night.

ytd went to find ver first before going to chalet.
then meet ron in town.
slack ard & walk ard.
had very funny conversations with vernice hahahaha!
and i had a blue black on my arm now cause she pinched me. wtf?!



anyway after that rush to paris ris to meet ping. took a bus down to the chalet place and first person i saw is qiu ming. then ying jie, dat yong, mervin, JING HAN, jovan and others. and suddenly my nose feel so sour. feel like tearing. i'm sooo happy to see them & getting so emotional! jing han is still so adorable & i definitely miss those time during secondary school.
if not because of a stupid pimple maybe now i'm still with him. LOL.



so after that saw another grp of ppl. shang ying, ng li, fifi, jun yi, keng yang and etc.
had a crappy night with them and i cant stop laughing! the guys are really really lame! my stomach ache for the whole night and when finally i can rest, jovan and gang came back from lan.
and they started making laugh my ass off again!



so jovan and jing han started playing poker and i'm sharing seat with jing han. and jing han was quite lucky at some rounds luh. haha. and of course i'm his lady luck. and jovan started saying that what successful men behind always have a woman. so he asked ying jie sit beside him and ping was sitting beside daty. there's inside jokes also. it's damn damn funny.



after that they started player poker with drinking cups of water as bet. and jing han drank soooo much that he feel sick! my god. so after that afew of us walked to a open cafe/bar at dont know whr and we started playing pool and eat our supper. but of course jing han is resting back at the room. after that we went back and he's sleeping soundly (: so much memories came into my mind. sigh. he's just so special as always...



after that when its 9am. we went to rent bicycles and ride to downtown east. okay i'm sooo stress cause i actually cant ride really well. everytime i get down from the bike i get jelly legs man! =/ so we went to arcade and played for the whole morning, took neoprint too! (:


but awww. how i wanted to keep the whole print. haha.

celebrated donald's birthday today with yl, xiu, astroboy, yt & of course, donald.
went to have lunch at Aston. ate prime sirloin with coleslaw and potato salad as my side dishes.
it's damn yummy & cheap!
but cant really finish it. =/

then after that walked ard and left to meet vernice. met her sisters and we shopped ard at far east before ver and me go seperate ways with her sisters. then ron came and meet us.

after that went to paragon, accompany ver go look presents for her special someone.
after that have dinner at The Spoon Soup. not bad. the soups really look appealing to me. =D

after that we went to art friend at taka. bought a card for danny (: & it freaking cost 10 bucks.
i'm so sorry danny. now i know how much it cost for you to get me those cards last time. =(
got some small paper to make cards too and some other stuffs. (:

then this old man who have a young child in his heart took me to the stuff toys there and start telling me how cute is the roly bear and the duck but he preferred the forever friends bear.
see how adorable is this old man! anyway i started taking pictures of the bears and they're really [i have to admit] SOOOO CUTE! XD

once upon a time there's this twins leaving in a small town called 'a small corner of Art Friend' and they are roly no.1 & roly no.2 .
as you can see. they are good friends with whitey the duck who also lives there.

at the meanwhile the person who ps us is still settling his important matters. (:
after that rushed home at 11 plus going to be 12.
took the last train which stops at kranji and called my parents to come and pick me. =D

went to bugis with dd, yt, xiu today.
walked ard shopping for xmas present.
after that yl came and join us.

bought vernice's birthday present and afew xmas presents for my girls. :D
i bought those xmas presents from a pushcart shop and the person looking after the pushcart is damnnnn cuteeee [to me luh ._.] at first i bought one only. then i want to see him again so i went back again and buy more stuffs from him. LOL. he's really very cute! =/ ok. enough of this.

after that shop at village and i bought a pair of heels.
its like damn nice! and last time the shop used to sell those shoes at a high price but these few days they are selling at a super low price! so i told myself that i must walk out the shop with something today. and this i-think-very-fated-with-me heels caught my sight and i bought it at $23. okay not me. dd bought it.

then went to 2nd level. pass by the perfume shop and i was looking for the one i noticed at Sasa. its Daisy Marc Jacobs. its really nice (: but suddenly this-very-fated-with-me anna sui dolly girl : on the beach caught my sight and i'm like OMG! IS THAT LIKE THAT ALREADY-STOP-PRODUCTION BLUE DOLLY GIRL! it's like a year ago? i happened to have dolly girl on the beach 'tester strip' and i threw it in my bag. after awhile i realise it has a very very very nice smell! after a few months later i wanted to get it but i was informed that it has stop production! i'm sooooo upset and now i finally saw the i-think-its-the-last-bottle-in-singapore! so dd tempted me by asking : you want to buy? :D then i gave a very serious consideration about it and i nodded with enthusiasm. and its mine at $45. (: but i've alr like forgotten the smell? so immediately i spray it on my wrist and woah! it's really nice! =D

then we shop at bugis junction again and of course, we 'fake fake' pass by that pushcart and look at the guy. heees. okok. i know that's not the point.

then i saw a small bag and they knew i wanted to get a small bag so everyone started tempted by complimenting that its nice and i should get it. shucks! so i told dd it's his decision. LOL. and of course he bought it at $25.90. and the three items are what he said to be my christmas present. =/

of course when i go home i got nagged by my mum luh! ):
but nevermind as promised, when i have money, i'll buy lots of things for you too okay ._. ! still, THANKS ALOT! =D

after that we went to eat at subway, chatted then went to cine and find terrence and my cliffie!!!
okay after that went to arcade and play then rest at gloria jeans for a drink and chit chatted.
okay. the most important part. i was coughing so badly so there's this very nice guy who asked if i'm okay and then he offered to go and buy mineral water for me! then 7-11 doesnt sell the one i want so he went down to basement and get it from koufu! so sweet right! sweeter than the lollipop incident!

after that rest at the park near dhoby ghaut and listen to them sing.

OHOH! halfway through the night, MR.E-LOOKALIKE SMSED ME with this very cute, sweet and short sms!
okay i'm going crazy alr. its the first time he really msg me on his own okay. woohoo!

lol! and ya. i was telling almost everyone i'm in a 'no talking campaign' so they can only sms me as i cant speak. =X

and when danny was asking me how i lost my voice, i gave him a stupid reply saying that i dreamt of a fairy saying she will take away my voice and when i woke up i just lost my voice. ROFL.

ohoh! after that met up with parents again and we went to some restaurant to eat the xiao long bao. hahaha!
not badddd but very salty =X

i cant wait to be able to sing again!

i miss my grandma.. =( wednesday's her 100 days so we going to the place and visit her.
wonder where is she at now.

P.S. as i'm on my way home. i got like 1/4 of my voice back. so now i can talk abit but in a very very weird kind of voice and keep '走音'... =/

okay first it started out fine on my way to city hall..blah blah..
then as most has alr know i lost my voice so i cant really communicate with others.
then as i was going to meet terrence [walking from funan IT mall to city hall MRT], my shoe spoil!!!! so i'm like oh what now. so suay. nevermind maybe can tahan until bugis and buy a new shoe. but nono! it get worse and worse and eventually i cant walk so i hide in the toilet thinking of a way and i have to ask for a rubber band from an auntie. [ok i knw very embarrassing]
then with my temp out of shape shoes, i went to U.R.S.inc. and wanted to buy a new shoes which cost $39.90.
so happily as i was paying for the shoe, my atm got declined! oh fk! today is holiday! so my pay havent get into my account. shucks. i'm like how how?! and not forgetting i still cant speak!! then i smsed terrence to come over and then i called my dad. but he cant wear me cause i really got no voice! so i have to pass the phone to the saleslady and ask her to speak to him! omg! = =

okay then i'm like stuck at the shop for ard 20 mins? until my dad came and pay for me and after which my angel - terrence also arrived. and end of story. then i walked ard bugis with my new shoes. LOL.

super unlucky can. got to see vernice also cause she's at bugis and she only came and find me when i told her someone is also here! =( so its not because of me that you come over lor vernice yong yu xin.

yesterday morning rushed to bugis to the hotel for a briefing then meet my grp members. =D
haha. yep. its the tour guide for japanese students thingy. its really tough man. we're like chicken and ducks talking. quite a big language barriers. but luckily the little japanese i know helps alot.

My group members are Ayaka-chan, Mana-chan, Mei-chan & Yuri-chan. =)



learn alot of things from them too.



throughout the journey have to call ron and danny to ask for directions! =/

first brought them to chinatown. they were soooo amazed by the shophouses thr. haha. they bought some merlion keychains and cups. =D asking me if its yasui[cheap] or takai[expensive].
then they told me they want ice cream with bread. haha. and there's this ice cream uncle selling it so they tried it. and they think it's oishii! haha.

next they want to go orchard. so i asked if they know about durian. and they said they want to try! so i bought them the durain pancakes. they think its really smelly!! =/ and when they tried their reaction was like : OISHII! haha. but only ayaka-chan dislike it. =(

then they shopped at watson and guardian for cosmetics. haha. after that i brought them to cine to take puri puri. haha. it's neoprint =D they are real professional in taking puri because the machine is in their language! hahaha. after that they saw a bunch of nihonji[japanese] boys. guess the boys are here for vacation too. they are still in their uniforms! =/ anyway, they are so cute! lol.





after that they told me they want to eat xiao long bao! omg. where to find sia!
but oh oh! i thought of a place! hahaha. sim lim square! rmbed last time went thr with parents and we ate the xiao long bao. not bad! and its near their hotel so i brought them there and bought fried kuay tiow and fried hokkien mee & of course their xiao long bao. [i missing xiao long bao now. really its nice] they really think its superb & oishii, even though that wasnt the nicest fried kuay tiow and fried hokkien mee. =X

then ver came to look for me. =DD

after that i send them back to hotel and bid them goodbye asking them MUST EMAIL ME! hahaha. =D

BUT by the time, i'm so damn late! shucks. so me and vernice rushed back to sp. we were like late for 1 mins? LOL.

finshed the paper then welcome our holidays!

they were asking me why everytime i do my paper so fast. so the conclusion i gave is : means i never study thats why nothing write =/

after the paper, went to collect our 'Breathe' event moolah.
then headed to heeren with ver and nikki.

we shopped and heeren then there's this guy carrying a super big snake. and i'm so excited! i want to take a picture with it!! so i dragged ver and nikki with me! hahaha.

after that we decided to go pub and we travelled to clarke quay and i brought them to bardot. the one i went to with lpd and danny before. =D
the lady damn chio although ron keep saying she look more and more chubby and her fake eyelash very fake.
but i like cannot uh. lol. then i keep looking at her = =!

after that we ordered volka with red bull and tiger beer. then i try to sing but i alr got no voice alr! cause the pub is too noisy! alot of shouting and stuffs and nikki thinks that maybe the volka is too strong for me. sigh.

ver and ron and nikki played pool too. haha. well i did play abit but i was so off ytd!

after that we left at ard nearly to 4am. not sure too. then send nikki to bus stop and accom her wait for her NR8. then ron wanted to eat fries so we went to macdonalds. and instead he fell asleep thr while vernice is drawing. =/

after that vernice want to look for the toilet so we went off and the timing is just right! the man just open the shutter for the underground. haha. then we headed home. i couldnt stand it at cck so i alight and cabbed home. slept till 3pm plus. =D

but i keep pondering on one thing... where did i spend my $5 on?!

i had like $95 with me! and i'm like with $17 back home. but there's this $5 missing! LOL. i couldnt recall where i spent it on! i'm like cracking my head. zzz.
but then, wtf! i spent soo much money!

okok. lets list down my expenditure on the next entry. LOL.

went to town today after our 2nd last paper. hurhur.

& we took neoprints!
